Ways to trade · copy trading
Copy a strategy. Keep your own stop.
Pick a lead, set what you are willing to put behind them, and their entries open in your own account at your own size. Every lead publishes the same two figures at the same weight: what the account returned over the window, and the worst drawdown inside it.

Three decisions, and two of them are yours
A copy is an instruction to mirror somebody else's entries into your account. It is not a fund, a managed account, or a transfer of your money to anybody.
01
Choose a lead
Every lead publishes a name, a strategy, the window's return, the worst drawdown inside that window, the fees they charge and how many people copy them.
02
Set your own size
You choose the allocation and the stake behind each mirror. The lead's position size is not yours. The allocation is held from your balance, not sent anywhere.
03
Keep your own stop
Copy stop-loss, copy take-profit, a maximum stake per mirror and a cap on open mirrors are all settings on your side, and they are enforced on your side.
The leads, with drawdown beside return
Ordered as the desk orders them, never by return. A lead that lost money over the window stays on the page.

Return and drawdown are the lead account's own figures over the last thirty days. They are past. Drawdown above 12% is printed in red on purpose — it is the number that decides whether you can hold a position, not the number that sells one.
What copying does not do
Four things the surface has to say before you press anything, because each one has been got wrong somewhere.
Stopping stops the next mirror, not the open ones
When you stop a copy, the allocation being held comes back to your balance, the copy is marked stopped, and nothing further is mirrored. Positions already open in your account STAY OPEN. They are your own positions — they sit in your own trades list, and you close them when you decide to. Nothing is closed at the market on your behalf, at any price, at the moment you stop.
A thirty-day figure is a past figure
The return and the drawdown on this page are what the lead account did over the window stated beside them. They are not a forecast, not a target and not a rate. Nothing here says what a lead will do next, because nothing can.
Both fees come out of your balance
A management fee and a performance fee are printed on every row before you copy. Both are the lead's, and both are taken from your account — the management fee while the copy runs, the performance fee out of a mirror's profit when it settles.
Your stop is yours
A lead cannot widen a stop you set. Copy stop-loss and copy take-profit are your settings, the maximum stake per mirror is your setting, and the cap on how many mirrors can be open at once is your setting.
Copy with your own stop already in place.
Open an account, set the rules you want enforced, then choose a lead.
Risk warning. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Orvantis markets is a trading name of its registered operating company.
