A minimum, a term, and no fee to find later.

A package states the smallest amount it takes, how many days it runs, what it charges and when the principal comes back. Those are contract terms and they are on every card. What a package will earn is settled inside the account, against the amount you actually place, and it is not on this page.

Read five facts, then decide

A package holds an amount for a fixed number of days. Everything a marketing page can honestly tell you about one is a term of that arrangement.

01

Read the terms

Minimum, maximum, term in days, fee and redemption — five facts, on every package, with a risk band above them.

02

The principal is held for the term

Money placed in a package leaves your balance and is held until the package matures. There is no early-redemption control.

03

It matures; it does not roll

At the end of the term the principal is returned to your balance automatically. Nothing renews itself and nothing is re-placed without you.

There is no fee on a package — not an entry fee, not a management fee and not an exit fee. A package's risk band is printed beside its name; one that has not stated a band says so.

What this page will not tell you

Four absences, each of them deliberate, and each of them cheaper to read here than to discover later.

There is no rate on this page

A package accrues at a rate agreed inside the account against the amount you actually place. Printing a rate on a marketing card turns a term into a promise, and a promise about a return is the one thing this site does not make.

There is no past performance on this page

None is shown. If it ever is, it will carry the window it covers on the same line as the figure and be labelled as past — a performance figure without its window is not a figure, it is a mood.

The term is the term

There is no early-redemption control for a customer. A package runs to its maturity date, when the principal returns to your balance automatically. A package can only be closed early by the desk, which returns the principal; returns already paid stay paid.

There is no fee, and that is a measured statement

No fee is taken when money goes in, while it runs, at maturity or on a cancellation. If that ever changes, the package card is where it will show first.

Read the five facts, then open an account.

Minimum, maximum, term, fee and redemption are on every package before you place anything.
