Ways to trade · staking

A rate, a term, and a lock you can read.

A staking plan holds an amount for a stated number of days and accrues at a stated rate. The rate, the band it sits inside, the term, the lock and when the money lands are all on the row — and the schedule below the shelf says exactly when each one happens.

Three numbers decide everything

A stake is not a deposit and not a trade. It is an amount held for a fixed period at a fixed rate.

01

Pick a plan

Each plan states its rate, the band that rate sits inside, the number of days it runs and the smallest amount it takes.

02

The amount is held

The stake leaves your balance the moment it is placed and is held for the whole of the term. The rate is fixed at that moment and a later change to the plan does not re-price it.

03

It matures on its own

At the end of the term the stake matures without you doing anything, and the principal and the accrual are credited together.

The rate is the plan's applied rate, held inside the band shown beside it and frozen against your stake the moment it is placed. A band means the desk may set the applied rate anywhere between the floor and the ceiling for a new stake — it does not mean an open stake moves.

When the money moves

The same plans again, as a schedule. There is one credit and it is at the end — nothing is posted to your balance while a stake runs.

What a plan says, and what it does not

A lock is a promise you make to the desk. These are the four the desk makes back.

A rate is not a return

Each plan prints a rate and the band that rate sits inside. The rate applies to the amount staked, for the days stated, and it does not compound. Nothing on this page is a guarantee and nothing here is a forecast.

One credit, at the end

There is no weekly or monthly payment while a stake runs. The principal and the whole of the accrual arrive together on the day the term ends, and they arrive without you asking.

The lock is the term

There is no early-withdrawal control for a customer: once placed, a stake runs to its maturity date. A stake can only be cancelled by the desk, which returns the amount staked and forfeits the term's accrual.

The rate is frozen at the moment you stake

The rate written against your stake is the plan's applied rate on the day you placed it. A later edit to the plan does not re-price a stake that is already running, in either direction.

Read the term before you lock the money.

Every plan states its rate, its band, its term and the day the money comes back.
